SENIOR FINANCIAL PLANNER

Fi3 Financial Advisors is a fee-only, independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and multi- family office. We provide comprehensive financial guidance and investment management services to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families that typically have a net worth between $5 million and $100 million. We are seeking a highly experienced and credentialed Senior Financial Planner to join our growing team. This role will be based in our Indianapolis, IN headquarters and will play a critical role in supporting our Advisors by developing, reviewing, and presenting comprehensive financial plans tailored to the unique needs of our clients. The ideal candidate is both technically proficient and client-centric, with a passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate with Advisors to design and deliver holistic financial plans, including retirement, estate, tax, insurance, and philanthropic planning that are timely and highly accurate

  • Analyze complex financial data and model various planning scenarios using industry-leading software

  • Support key client meetings to present planning recommendations and provide technical expertise

  • Stay current on tax laws, estate planning strategies, and financial planning best practices relevant to high-net-worth individuals

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior planners and associates

  • Assist in the development and refinement of internal planning processes and tools

  • Coordinate with clients’ external advisors (CPAs, estate attorneys, etc.) to ensure integrated planning

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years in financial planning, preferably working with HNW and UHNW clients

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in business, accounting, finance, mathematics and/or economics

  • CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification required; CPA and/or JD desirable

  • Advanced knowledge of tax strategies, trusts, retirement planning, advanced estate planning, insurance and charitable giving

  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts

  • Proficiency with eMoney financial planning software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & PowerPoint)

  • High ethical standards and a commitment to fiduciary responsibility

  • Must be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic

  • Must be comfortable executing with high energy in a fast-paced environment

  • Acute attention to detail and process oriented

  • Passionate for continuous learning of Financial Planning concepts and all continuing education
