Matt Simpson, CPA, CFP®

Matt takes the time to know his clients, to understand their needs, and to prepare thoughtful approaches to meet their goals. That’s why Matt has earned the trust of families across the U.S.

He has nearly fifteen years of experience in the wealth management industry and five years of tax experience in public accounting.

Matt most recently served as a Client Relationship Strategist at Oxford Financial Group. He has also worked in Ernst & Young’s Personal Financial Counseling Group and at Arthur Andersen. Matt has advised individuals and families around the U.S., including corporate executives, business owners, entrepreneurs, and family members of inherited wealth.

Clients value their relationship with Matt for his care, diligence, and sound judgment. He came to Fi3 because the Family CFO approach matches the intent and care he puts into each and every client relationship.

Matt grew up on a farm in northwest Indiana. He earned his B.A. in Accounting from Franklin College. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant, and holds the Series 65 license. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society. Matt lives on the north side of Indianapolis with his wife, Sarah, and their two boys. He enjoys playing tennis, exercising, and spending time with his family.
